Called "Turkey Run Canoe and Camping" now. Terrible experience. Some staff members were rude over phone and in person - ensuring we felt our questions were an inconvenience to them. FILTHY, DISGUSTING bathrooms and showers. No soap in ladies room for two full days. Overflowing dumpsters. One of our campsites was only 12 feet wide (site 11). They could not manage tube and canoe trips properly, so we couldn't go out on the trip despite following their directions to show up on time. Campers also do not respect the 11p quiet hours, and staff doesn't do anything about it. You have to pay $20 for a grill b/c fire pits aren't equipped.

Took 4 hours to float down river but fun I suggest if the wind is not blowing you where you need to go get a kayak or canoe

By far the best campground around! Love the friendly staff and private campsites. My family and I go as often as possible, there's no other campground like this one, it's a one of a kind and we look forward to going back year after year. Love the fact that you get a discount on your canoe trip when you rent a campsite is awesome. Thank you Turkey Run Canoe and Camping!

We loved this place! Staff was friendly, helpful. Bathrooms were old but clean. Beautiful scenery.

This is a very good and professional facility where I enjoyed my first experience canoeing this Summer. The staff was very helpful and gave clear explanations of the area we would be canoeing in. I wish they had spent a bit of time explaining HOW to canoe as we were first timers but that is okay we figured it out as we went. I think the path is a bit difficult for beginners and there are a few places where it is easy to get stuck or crash into fallen tree trunks if you are not experienced in navigating. At one point we had to get out of our canoe that had gotten stuck in shallow waters. The path itself was beautiful with amazing rock formations and evidence of water erosion. There were also a few cave areas along the walls of the canyons that had interesting markings. Overall I would over to come back to this place and experience the relaxing (however at times difficult) path in the park. Definitely my favorite part of my trip to Indiana.
