Awesome experience and they take great care of the cats. The staff is knowledgeable and will answer any questions you may have. It's a great cause. Proceeds help feed the exotic animals which are not cheap to feed as you can imagine. Check it out! Great for the whole family. Structures are built well and it feels safe walking with the guide
Jungle Park Speedway, a half-mile oval with a quarter-mile oval in its infield, was one of the premier speedways in the Midwest in the early 20th century. It was a proving ground for some of the top American race drivers. The track closed in 1960 after one more in a long line of horrific accidents. Nature has been reclaiming the grounds ever since. IF you don't know the history of this place you really should look it up, two winners of the Indianapolis 500 raced here in their early days. Even though the place is more a historical ruin now, it still show much of the history that occurred here as one of the most dangerous raceways.
Ok. Parts a little run down
Stop by here when you visit Turkey Run. Cool abandoned race track. Google it, and read the history first. Neat place.
